Privacy Policy
Last updated October 3, 2026
Become Ministries (“Become,” “we”) is a Christian ministry led by Minister Michael Lindell. What you share with Become is entrusted to us, and we treat it that way. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your first and last name, email address and password (stored encrypted; we never see it).
- What you share: your Just Talk conversations, prayer requests, the verses you save and the notes you write, your reading plan progress, the steps you check off, where you are on your journey, and your Bible language.
- Technical information: basic device and usage data needed to run the site securely, such as your browser type and the pages you open.
How we use it
- To run your account and show you your own journey, reading and saved verses.
- To pray for you. Prayer requests are read by the Become Prayer Team.
- To care for people in crisis. Requests marked urgent are flagged for our team.
- To send you account emails, such as password resets.
- To understand how the ministry is doing, using totals only, never individual stories.
What we never do
- We never sell your information or share it for advertising.
- We never make your prayer requests or notes public.
- We never guess your religion or spiritual state from your behavior.
Who helps us run Become
We use trusted service providers that process data only on our behalf: Supabase (secure database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting) and Resend (email). Just Talk uses Anthropic, a technology provider, to help understand and answer messages; it processes them only to provide the service and does not use them to train its models.
Who can see your information
Only you can see your Just Talk conversations, saved verses, notes and journey. If something you write in Just Talk suggests you may be in danger, the Become Prayer Team is alerted with your name, not your conversation, so we can pray and reach out. Prayer requests are seen by the Become Prayer Team and ministry leadership. Staff access is limited to what is needed to serve you.
Your choices
- Access and export: ask for a copy of your information at any time.
- Correction: update your name on your profile, or ask us to correct anything else.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your account and everything in it.
Email privacy@becomeministries.org and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the European Union, the United Kingdom or California), you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
Children
Children under 13 cannot create their own account. Kids’ profiles are created and controlled by a parent. Teens 13 to 17 may join only through a parent’s invitation, and can only reach the Kids and Youth section.
Keeping it safe
Your information is encrypted in transit, protected by access rules so each member sees only their own data, and stored with providers that meet industry security standards. No system is perfect; if a breach ever affected you, we would tell you.
Around the world
Become serves people in many countries. Your information is stored in the United States. If you live somewhere where following Jesus is dangerous, you can delete your account at any time.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will tell you on the site before it takes effect.
